How to use your Smart Parcel Box
Modifying your delivery address
To ensure a smooth deliveries to your Smart Parcel Box, please change your address to this format:
- Address: SMART PARCEL BOX Brief location of your Smart Parcel Box
- Your House Number and Street
- Your Town
- Your Country
- Your Post Code
So your delivery address will look something like this:SMART PARCEL BOX

It′s recommended that you make your Smart Parcel Box delivery address a registered delivery address on websites like Amazon, Paypal and your other favourite online stores.
And also remember to leave special instructions.
Most online stores (websites) allow you to leave special instructions at the time of checkout. It is usually used for delivery instructions. It is recommended to provide the following instructions:
If I’m not available in person to take delivery, please drop the parcel at my SMART PARCEL BOX located at ———. The driver should scan the unique barcode in the delivery chute as the POD. We authorise you to use this scan as proof of delivery. Please DO NOT leave/deliver the parcel elsewhere.
Note: You can easily reset the combination key after you have shared it with couriers.
If you are expecting a Large Parcel
If you are expecting a large or a fragile parcel (e.g. wine bottles), and you are certain that no other delivery is expected on that day; you could change the pin and give it to the couriers as a special instruction during checkout. In this case the courier will open the holding space and will leave the parcel and close it behind. Your special instructions can look something like this:
If I’m not available, please leave my order in my SMART PARCEL BOX. This parcel will not fit the delivery chute, so please open the lock using pin 123 and please lock it after delivery. The driver should scan the unique barcode in the delivery chute as the POD. We authorise you to use this scan as proof of delivery. Please DO NOT leave/deliver the parcel elsewhere.
Keep your box empty for optimum use
Please remember to clear your box as soon as you can by taking your parcels out frequently. This will prevent clogging of space and allow you to take as many parcels as the volume of the box will accept.
Remember to ask the drivers to Scan
While introducing your smart parcel box to the drivers, please remember to ask them to scan the barcode after they have delivered. This will act as a proof of delivery for them and you would get email or mobile text notification upon delivery.
This is subject to the facility available with the courier service.
